About Max
Meet Max! Hi, I’m Max, I have the best ears and I’m looking for my forever person! Someone I can learn with, cuddle close to, and love with all my big puppy heart while sharing zoomies, smiles, and endless loyalty every single day. Max is from Louisiana and has an estimated birthdate of 12/19/2025. He and his siblings were owner-surrendered and are said to be cur mixes, but who knows! He gives off strong Snoopy vibes. He’s smart, a little playful, very lovable, and the kind of character people just want to hug. Max loves attention and exploring the world with his nose and mouth. He bounces from playful zoomies to long cuddle sessions in a heartbeat. He’s a quick learner with a big, loving heart! He picks up on routines, commands (he already knows sit and come!), and cues so fast. He has that perfect balance of curious and affectionate. Max is ready to bond deeply with his forever family. Whoever adopts him isn’t just getting a puppy, they’re getting a smart little best friend! He is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. His adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and his neuter when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. To apply to adopt Max, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt. Spay/Neuter Disclosure: Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics. Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption. Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
