Despite her high energy, August is also smart and responsive-she quickly followed sit cues and enjoyed a Kong treat with gentle focus, showing her sweet, trainable side. She's a playful and affectionate pup who thrives with a little guidance and structure. August would do best in a home that can keep up with her spirited personality, offering lots of playtime, enrichment, and love. Come meet her and feel her spark in person! Behavior Notes: Per staff 4/7/26: Miss August is full of energy but after asking her to sit a few times she did. I gave her a kong with peanut butter and she took it gently. I noticed she had happy tail in that moment and asked an ACA to move her over to a bigger crate so her tail wouldn't hit the sides as easy. She came out of her cage perfectly and let us look at her tail with no issue. She started to get tense while putting her away but after the aca swiftly got her in there was no issues getting the leash off of her.
