The most comical situation we’ve ever had in our rescue! During the February snowstorm, a Good Samaritan reached out about an orange cat in her yard desperately trying to get inside. She had been feeding “him” for months, but that night was different. She let the kitty in, but with travel plans coming up, she needed help fast. Luckily, we had a foster ready. But the moment Cara Cara arrived, the surprise was revealed—this wasn’t a chunky boy… this was a very pregnant mama! And just two hours later, she delivered her first kitten. Within no time, our “boy” became a proud mama of five adorable babies - Roux, Annette, Rada, Twinkie and Poppy(already reserved). Since then Cara Cara has been an amazing mom to her kittens. This family is being fostered in the home with the dog and other cats. They receive a lot of attention from their foster family and are being spoiled with love and affection. They are not only gorgeous, but also sweet and adventurous just like their orange mama Cara Cara. The kittens can be adopted in pairs or one of them can be adopted with their beautiful silly mom Cara Cara or to the home with another cat/cat friendly dog they can bond with.
