Oh mama Cara Cara!! The most comical situation we’ve ever had in our rescue! During the February snowstorm, a Good Samaritan reached out about an orange cat in her yard desperately trying to get inside. She had been feeding “him” for months, but that night was different. She let the kitty in, but with travel plans coming up, she needed help fast. Luckily, we had a foster ready. But the moment Cara Cara arrived, the surprise was revealed—this wasn’t a chunky boy… this was a very pregnant mama! And just two hours later, she delivered her first kitten. Within no time, our “boy” became a proud mama of five adorable babies. If you’ve ever had a ginger cat, you know the personality—and Cara Cara has all of it. Funny, sweet, fearless, and just a little bit bossy haha! Everything is on her terms! She’s thriving in a home with other cats and even a dog, acting like she’s always belonged.
