About Sky Tag
Sky Tag is a young German shepherd spayed female, about 6 months old, who found herself at the shelter after her previous family could no longer keep her. She’s had a tough time adjusting to the noise and routine of shelter life, as she’s used to being at home with familiar people. Sky Tag wasn’t socialized much outside of her family, so meeting new faces can make her nervous, but she warms up with patience and becomes very sweet. She’s dog friendly—she’s been around other dogs in her past home and even lived with children and a cat. She’s smart, energetic, and clearly eager to please, but she needs an experienced adopter who understands German shepherds, especially when it comes to continued socialization and basic manners training. Sky Tag isn’t house trained yet, so that’s something her new person will need to help her with. The shelter is still learning more about her as she settles in.
