About Foxglove
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Meet the lovely Foxglove. A quiet soul looking for a calm household to help her blossom. Foxglove is a bit of an introvert, but with time and patience, she will show you her gentle and playful side. She has a long list of wonderful qualities. *House trained *Not destructive *Great listener *Professional cuddler *Quiet housemate *Gently takes treats *Gladly accepts belly rubs *Loves to be near her people She is still working on building confidence and being brave, so a fenced yard would be the safest thing for her. It is unknown if she lived with kids, but too much chaos may be overwhelming. Kids 8+, and understand boundaries, would be best. While she hasn't shown much interest in toys or playing, that could certainly change once she finds her perfect family. Are you active? Love the outdoors? Foxglove could be your girl. She totally loved running and rolling in the snow. She is happiest and most playful when out walking. She will show her excitement when the leash comes out. Leash skills are top notch. Getting in all the interesting smells makes her smile! A more remote or less traveled route can be beneficial while getting comfortable in a new environment. She seems to like dogs. She does walk with the resident dog, but hasn't really wanted to interact. Again, in her forever home, she may show more interest. A dog that is very energetic may be too much for her. Are you someone with a soft spot for a shy, but sweet and loyal, companion? Apply to meet this gorgeous girl. She will definitely repay you with endless love and loyalty. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
