About Lili
Lili is a 14-year-old Shih-Tzu/Lhasa Apso mix with a big heart and a gentle nature. She lost her home when her devoted owner was deported, but not before making sure Lili's future was in loving hands. True to that promise, Lili has been surrounded by care and compassion while she waits for a new family in Middlesex, NC. She’s a sweet senior who doesn’t ask for much—just a soft place to land and someone to cherish her during her golden years. Lili currently has some mammary masses, though her vet isn’t concerned at this time and she remains comfortable. Before she can join her forever home, Lili will need to be spayed. Her rescuers are seeking sponsors for her surgery, but finding her a loving adopter is the real priority. Local adopters or those willing to travel will be considered, as Lili cannot be transported. She gets along with other dogs and would do best with someone who appreciates an affectionate, quiet companion. Every bit of kindness shown to Lili helps keep a promise made out of love.
