He’s the kind of companion who brings a sense of peace wherever he goes. Friendly and affectionate, Hector enjoys being close to his people, soaking up pets and attention, and simply sharing quiet moments by your side. He has wonderful manners—he doesn’t bark or destroy things, walks nicely on a leash, and sleeps comfortably in his crate. Hector gets along very well with other dogs and would do great in a home with canine companions or as a loyal best friend to his humans. He enjoys going on walks. Hector’s story is one of quiet resilience. He was found alongside three other dogs in an abandoned lot, left without shelter and exposed to harsh weather. Kind people had been leaving them food and water, but they had no safety or comfort. Thankfully, a compassionate rescuer stepped in and, with the help of others, brought them all to safety.
