Zaza is a striking Russian blue mix, about a year and a half old, who was surrendered by someone who was about to become homeless. Although it took him a few days to adapt to his foster home, gradually showed his warm personality by curling up with his foster parents with his foster parents, and generally being an all-around good boy. We haven’t seen him around dogs, other cats, or children yet. We think he'd do fine with kids who know how to be respectful to cats. Nearly all cats are OK with kids like that. Zaza would do best in an interactive home where he isn’t left alone for long hours. Zaza will be a devoted companion for life who appears to be suitable for a first-time adopter. He has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and treated for worms and fleas. His adopter will receive his medical records. He’s being fostered in the Northeastern University area. Adoptions are facilitated by video meet-and-greets, as well as in-person visits. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee of $225, which helps us continue rescuing cats in need. Cats can live up to 20 years, so please consider whether you can commit to providing a safe, loving home for life before adopting.
