About Winnie

Winnie is part of a tight-knit group of six young, beautiful cats who are either siblings or lifelong pals. All are around 8–10 months old, except for their mother and aunt, Hope, who’s two. These cats will only be adopted out in pairs—they’ve grown up together and need that familiar companionship. Winnie and her gang came into rescue as half-grown kittens, so they’re still working on trusting people completely. They don’t quite seek out petting yet, but they do enjoy being around humans, hanging out, and playing. Anyone interested should be prepared to give them a patient, cat-savvy home with lots of gentle encouragement. Food definitely helps win them over. Winnie herself is a striking, long-haired calico who relaxes on her cat tree like she owns the place. Her friends each have their own personalities, too—some are more outgoing, while others are more reserved, but all have the makings of wonderful companions for someone willing to earn their affection. You can meet the whole crew in the Romper Room at Kingdom Animal Shelter on Saturdays, noon to 3pm. This rescue doesn’t do same-day adoptions, so plan ahead. Think you are the one?
