Meet Jake 🐾💛 Jake is truly the happiest boy around, and his joy is absolutely contagious! This sweet, loving pup greets everyone like an old friend—and sometimes gets so excited he just can’t hold it in (literally!). His zest for life makes every day brighter. Jake was born with a deformed leg, but don’t let that fool you—having three working legs doesn’t slow him down one bit. He gets around great, walks okay on a leash, and is always on the move exploring the world with a big smile on his face. He adores people and does wonderfully with other dogs and cats, making him an easy addition to many homes. While he hasn’t shown off a ton of play here yet, he came with a well-loved rope toy, so once he’s comfortable, his playful side is sure to shine through! Jake also enjoys his routine—especially getting his chew bone every morning (a tradition he’d love to keep going in his new home 🦴). His leg has been evaluated, and he’s doing great, but in the future, he may need additional care if any pain develops. There’s also a chance he could develop osteoarthritis over time due to the extra strain on his legs, so a family committed to keeping him comfortable and cared for will be important.
