This precious baby boy arrived at the shelter on March 18th at just 5 months old, and the world outside those kennel walls is still very new and very overwhelming to him. He stays quiet and still in his kennel, taking it all in — a tiny soul in a very big, very scary world, just waiting for someone to show him that it does not have to be that way.   Elijay is just a baby, and everything about his life is still ahead of him. He has never even had the chance to learn what a leash is yet — there is so much for him to discover, and every single one of those discoveries could happen in the arms of the right person. The patience and love poured into him now will shape the incredible, devoted dog he is going to become, and whoever gives him that chance will be rewarded beyond measure.   He is already neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on all of his vaccines — ready to go home the moment someone chooses him.
