Meet Matilda: Matilda is about a 2 year old (as of March 2026) Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix (best guess) that weighs 50 pounds. Matilda was found as a stray very pregnant and nowhere to go during a winter snow storm. A wonderful rescuer went and rescued her and took her to a nice warm and secure place to have her puppies. Matilda had a litter of 11 puppies on January 17th and into 18th. Unfortunately, 4 puppies didn't make it through the birth process, but there are 7 healthy, adorable pups (Storm, Hope, Willow, Saint, Hazel, BoBo and Ember) that were ready for their future! Matilda is being fostered in the south and would love to catch the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Matilda is very, very sweet! Matilda is good with people and other dogs. Matilda has spent time in a room at her foster home and has done very well and hasn't needed to be crated while they are away. Matilda walks on the leash very well and is house trained. We would love for Matilda to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Matilda is up to date on her shots and will be scheduled to be spayed soon. Matilda is heartworm positive and is currently going through treatments. She will be good as new and ready for her promising future soon!
