Meet Phoebe: Phoebe is a 10 week old (as of April 7, 2026) lab / cur mix (best guess) that weighs 12 pounds. Phoebe and her two friends were part of an eight puppy litter born in northern Mississippi in late January. The owner didn't want them and announced she had decided to throw them in a nearby lake. While some of the littermates were taken by local residents, three of them remained and at the last minute we were able to get the them! Phoebe is being fostered in the south and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Phoebe is your typical puppy - friendly, cuddly, playful and full of fun. As a puppy, Phoebe will need some patience while she works on her house training. We would love for Phoebe to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Phoebe is getting up to date on her puppy shots and will need to be spayed when age appropriate.
