Meet Churro! Churro is a handsome short-haired, 8-month-old orange tabby looking for a patient and loving forever home. He’s definitely a shy guy and may hiss when he’s scared, but it’s all fear-based—and he’s making great progress every day. He trusts his foster and allows her to handle him even when he’s unsure, which tells us that once he finds his person, he’s going to do just fine. Churro is currently around a lot of other cats, which can be overwhelming for him at times, even with extra one-on-one attention. That said, he does enjoy playing with other cats, so he would do best in a home with a feline buddy to help him build confidence. His favorite place? Cozying up on his foster’s bed, where he feels safe, snuggles in, and enjoys gentle pets. With time, patience, and understanding, we know he’ll blossom into a confident and affectionate companion.
