Meet Hickory Hickory is a one-year-old tabby cutie with a gentle spirit and so much love to give. This sweet boy can be a little shy at first, but with a little patience and kindness, his affectionate personality begins to shine. He’s looking for a calm, peaceful home where he can feel safe and build confidence at his own pace. Hickory would love a home with another calm, friendly cat to keep him company and help him feel at ease. Once he’s comfortable, he enjoys playing with toys and spending quiet time with his favorite people. Because he thrives in a relaxed environment, Hickory would do best in a home without a lot of hustle and bustle or young children. What he really needs is someone willing to give him lots of love, reassurance, and a cozy place to call his own. Hickory is on a prescription urinary diet, which will be important to continue as he settles into his new home and beyond to keep him feeling his best. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
