What my friends at ACC say about me: Mello was very sweet and a little bit shy, inside his den, looking slightly concerned but with fairly normal pupils and appearance. He allowed petting and leaned forward for treats, coming partway out of the den with his front two legs to eat squeeze ups and wet food. He warmed up and leaned in gently for cheek rubs and would rub against the edges of the den with his cheeks. He remained alert and slightly apprehensive of his surroundings, but he is very sweet. He tolerated a partial pickup without complaint. Mello interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.
