Lucy is a beautiful husky mix who was at a rural shelter. She was adopted by a couple who were told that she was cat friendly. When they got home, they discovered that she was not cat friendly, and they realized that they could not keep her, but they did not want to take her back to the shelter. They called us with their dilemma and we agreed to bring Lucy into the Rescue. So starting at the top, Lucy is not cat friendly. She is however great with dogs. And she is absolutely wonderful with people. This is a really nice dog. She does have some separation anxiety, which is completely understandable given her circumstances . When Rescue dogs get shuffled around, they become very insecure very quickly . It takes a little time to get them back to a comfort level where they trust again . We can certainly help with that in any home that she is placed in . There are remedies for this but patience and love are the key elements . Lucy is fully vetted . She’s a beautiful dog
