About Lucy
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Lucy is a stunning husky mix who found herself in need after a tough start at a rural shelter. After being adopted by a couple who were told she was cat friendly, it quickly became clear that this was not the case. Unable to keep Lucy safely, her adopters reached out to ensure she had a second chance, and she is now with the rescue. Lucy is not a match for homes with cats, but she is fantastic with dogs and absolutely adores people. Her gentle nature shines through, making her a truly lovely companion. Lucy does deal with some separation anxiety, which is understandable given her recent transitions—moved from the shelter to a new home, and now in rescue care. Rescue dogs can become insecure quickly, but with time, patience, and kindness, she will regain her confidence. The rescue is ready to support her future family with any guidance needed to help her adjust. Lucy is fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, and ready for her forever home. She would thrive in a family that can be patient and loving as she settles in, and she will reward you with loyalty and affection. Start your journey together! Apply now.
