About Pumpkin
Click apply to start the adoption process. Pumpkin, a classic calico with a flair all her own, has enough personality to power a small city. Fully grown at about 3 years old and weighing in around 7.4 pounds, she is a vibrant blend of colorful "cali-tude" and deep, purring affection. Pumpkin is FIV+, but don’t let that worry you—she doesn’t let it slow her down and just enjoys life as an indoor queen. She’s happiest in a home where she is the only cat or with other FIV+ cats, making her an ideal match for someone seeking a loving, devoted feline companion. Her daily life includes professional-level nap-taking, vocal protests over empty food bowls, and an unwavering belief that the best seat in the house is always the one you’re in. Living with FIV only means that Pumpkin needs to stay indoors and benefit from regular vet visits, but she’s just as affectionate and adoptable as any other cat. FIV isn’t something you, your dogs, or other non-feline pets can catch, and most FIV+ cats live long, happy lives with simple, proactive care. As an extra bonus, her adoption comes with the peace of mind that all Sweet Dream House Rescue cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed, and microchipped—and will never be declawed. Pumpkin is ready to fill your home with laughter, love, and plenty of calico charm. If you’re looking for a feline friend who will bring you endless joy, come meet her at our weekly adoption event or let us arrange an introduction for approved adopters. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
