Meet Peachy Keen! Our 6 year old, 6.5 pound, male Maltese. Peachy Keen is a delightful 6-year-old Maltese boy whose gentle spirit and big personality make him impossible not to love. He brings a soft, cheerful presence wherever he goes, always happy to trot alongside his favorite people or curl up for a cozy snuggle. Peachy Keen has a calm, and affectionate rhythm, making him an ideal companion for anyone seeking a loyal, low-key friend. With his fluffy white coat, expressive eyes, and sweet nature, he’s the kind of dog who brightens a home simply by being in it. Peachy Keen is ready to find a forever family who will cherish his tender heart and enjoy the steady, comforting companionship he offers so naturally. Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet. ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
