Oatmeal | The Mischievous Low-Rider The Vibe: A Basset-mix lookalike with floppy ears and a penchant for "borrowing" your laundry. Personality: Don't let the short legs fool you; Oatmeal is a powerhouse. She is the resident sock-thief and the proud protector of her favorite pickle toy. She has a "big dog" personality in a compact, low-to-the-ground body. Special Features: Long, velvety ears and a very cute "I didn't do it" face. Adopter Note: She's a bright student! After a few "discussions" about why nipping at ankles isn't the best way to get attention, she's learning fast. She'll need a family that continues her training with patience and plenty of chew toys. Oatmeal is available as part of our Foster to Adopt Program - what this means is that her adoptive family (once approved through the adoption process), will act as her foster family until she is of age to be spayed and her puppy vaccinations are completed. Foster to Adopt families MUST be located within 1 hour driving distance of our location. This is because puppies will have several clinic visits for vaccination updates and our veterinary partners are all in the Raleigh, NC area.
