Meet Sonny, a petite black Chihuahua who arrived at the rescue full of surprises—she was pregnant and brought five healthy puppies into the world. Now that her mom duties are over, she is ready for her own happy ending. Sonny gets along well with other dogs but honestly gravitates toward human company, enjoying smaller bursts of play, especially with puppies in her foster home. She’s on the shy side at first, but with some patience, her sweet personality shines through. Sonny has an endearing snaggle tooth that adds to her charm. Sonny is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and has tested negative for tick-borne diseases and heartworm. She’s a house-trained, short-coated little dog looking for someone to show her what forever feels like. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
