Nancy is about 4 years old. She is spayed and will need stitches removed around 4/13. She is current on vaccinations, and heartworm tested negative. She has also been given Bravecto flea/tick prevention and is good for about 2 more months. Nancy was a surrender to our shelter, and we were told she was good with dogs and cats. Meet and greets are required with dogs already in the home. Nancy has severe anxiety here at the shelter and does NOT like to be left alone. She had some vomiting and diarrhea that have gotten better with medication. She is fine being in the same room with people but will bark constantly when left alone. She weighs about 10 pounds and will not get any bigger than what she is now. She likes to follow us around and lay on the floor by us, but she isn't a little dog that needs to be picked up and carried around. She doesn't mind being picked up but doesn't beg for it. ***ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS UNTIL 4/10. AN ADOPTER WILL BE CHOSEN ON 4/13 AND NANCY WILL THEN BE READY TO GO ON A HOME VISIT. ***She will need more than one meeting with her potential adopter and for an application to even be considered.
