Hi, I'm Turnip! I'm a 60lb spayed mixed breed female and I am the life of the party wherever I go. I get excited when playing with friends and may jump on them or put my mouth on things I am not meant to. I am working with volunteers and staff to learn how to mind my manners. I’ll do best in a home that can continue training to help me get my energy out in appropriate ways. Although I can enjoy playing with other dogs, I would like to meet any future dog siblings before I go home with them to ensure we get along. I am a volunteer favorite with my happy-go-lucky attitude, but in new places I can get overwhelmed with new people. I'd love a home with dog experience to help me be my best self! Sounds like a good fit? Come visit me and any of my available friends at Metro Nashville Animal Care and Control during their open hours of 12-4pm daily, with extended hours of 12-6pm on Thursdays. Adoptions are first come first serve, in-person only with an approved application that you can fill out during your visit. During your visit, adoption counselors will go over my medical history and behavior notes, then you get to hang out with me. I hope to see you soon!
