COURTESY POST! Meet Cherry 🍒 Cherry is a sweet young pup looking for a patient, loving family to help her continue blossoming. Born in Huntington Park, CA, as part of an accidental litter to a Pointer/Doberman mix mom and American Staffordshire Terrier dad, Cherry spent most of her early life in a backyard with her siblings. When the family became overwhelmed, she came into our care and has been thriving in a foster home with a professional trainer. Cherry is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and she’s ready for her forever home. Her foster shares that Cherry is doing amazing and gaining confidence every day. She enjoys structured activities and would benefit from pack walks, hikes, and continued gentle guidance as she adjusts to the world. Another friendly, well-balanced dog in the home would be wonderful to help show her the ropes. Cherry has also done great meeting her foster mom’s cat. She is crate trained and learning to walk nicely on leash. While the outside world is still new to her, Cherry is eager to learn and wants nothing more than to love and belong. She’s not high maintenance — just a young pup who will thrive with stability, kindness, and a family ready to share life’s adventures.
