Dog's Name: Grandma (GRA0426ALAFD) Estimated Breed: Pit Bull Terrier mix Approximate Age: 4 years Approximate Weight: 50 lbs Currently Living at: Coming Soon Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Grandma — the gentle soul with so much love to give Don't let the name fool you—Grandma may not be old, but she is the definition of comfort, kindness, and unconditional love. This sweet Pit mix earned her name thanks to her calm, gentle nature. Grandma once lived in a house with 15 other dogs, but when her family moved away, they left them all behind. Thankfully, many of the dogs found homes—but Grandma was overlooked, so she's been waiting patiently for her turn. Grandma is incredibly docile and loving. She gets along great with other dogs and would fit beautifully into a peaceful home where she can finally feel safe and cherished. If you're looking for a loyal companion, a calm presence, and a dog who will love you endlessly, Grandma is ready to give you everything she has. Apply today and be the one to show this sweet girl that her story can have the happy ending she deserves! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
