Elle narrowly escaped euthanasia at Downey Shelter and is now looking for her next chapter in Capistrano Beach, CA. She brings a lot of energy along with a strong desire to connect with her person, showing eagerness to learn and please. Elle arrived underweight and is currently around 54 pounds—a bit more weight will have her feeling her best. She’s house trained, crate trained, sits on command, and walks well on leash, though she could use some more practice to curb her pulling. Elle plays well with other dogs after a short adjustment period, and while she’s good with little dogs, she’s a high-energy player and would do best with another larger, young dog who matches her enthusiasm. She’s now spayed, current on all vaccinations (including rabies), and is microchipped.
