Carter is a sweet, big boy who lost his home 2yrs ago and has been waiting to be adopted ever since. He’s around 3-4yrs old, and he is FIV+ as well as FeLV+. Because of his FeLV+ status, Carter must be an only cat or live with other FeLV+ cats. FeLV is only contagious to other cats, and it weakens their immune systems and may shorten their lifespan, but some cats live many, many years with FeLV. We don’t think this makes him any less deserving of a forever home! He’s very friendly, laid back, and gentle!
