About Willow
Willow is a four-year-old who has been through more than most dogs ever do. Used for breeding and then abandoned, she was left outside in the cold until a kind stranger brought her to safety. Even with her rough start, Willow’s gentle spirit is still clear. She can be shy and cautious around people, but she’s blossomed in foster care, gaining strength and learning to trust again. Willow finds comfort in other dogs—her foster siblings are helping her build confidence, and she looks to them for cues on how to relax and just be a dog. Because of this, she really needs a home with a friendly, well-adjusted canine companion who can serve as her anchor. Willow’s ideal adopter is patient and ready to go slow, letting her come out of her shell at her own pace. Earning her trust takes time, but she’s worth it. She is currently living in a foster home in New Kensington, PA, and is looking for a family that will give her the second chance she deserves. Willow’s journey proves that with love and stability, every shy soul can shine. Your new best friend is just one click away.
