When the kennel door is opened, she immediately gets up to walk forward, greeting the assessor at the front of the kennel with soft head bunts. Katy allows all petting, leaning in and lifting her back as she is pet. When pickup is attempted, she is able to be picked up but remains slightly tense when she is held. When she is placed back into her kennel, Katy remains at the front and continues to softly head bunt and lean into all petting. Katy interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.
