About Gigi
Gigi is looking for a very special home to spend her golden years This sweet girl has quite the story—after her owner passed away, Gigi was left alone for about 5 weeks before being rescued. Despite that, she’s shown just how resilient she is and is now ready to find a quiet, loving home. Gigi is shy at first, but incredibly sweet once she feels safe. She loves being brushed and will instantly start her purr motor when you scratch her cheeks. If you stop too soon, don’t be surprised if she gently paws your hand asking for more. She enjoys her independence and will often do “short visits”—coming to your lap or bed for pets, then heading off to relax before coming back again later. She’s a very quiet kitty and usually only meows if she needs something, like help opening a door. Gigi loves cozy hiding spots and being up high—cat trees with cubbies are her favorite. She tends to explore more at night and would do best in a calm, quiet home, as she startles easily. We are unsure how she does with other cats. She is declawed. Gigi is estimated to be between 12–14 years old and does have stage three kidney disease. She will need a home committed to continuing her care, including a kidney-friendly diet and subQ fluids, to help keep her comfortable and happy. She will come with everything she needs: her cat tree, litter box and litter, food dishes, any remaining kidney food, and her crate. Gigi deserves a peaceful home filled with patience and love.
