About Nelly
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Nelly took a little time to warm up, but once she felt at home, her vibrant personality quickly made her a standout in her foster household. This curious, bold, and social girl has earned the nickname Houdini for her uncanny ability to slip past closed doors and explore with determination. With a high energy level, Nelly delights in play sessions—she especially loves chasing balls and hair ties, but isn’t much into wand toys. After wearing herself out, she transforms into a total snuggle bug, ready to curl up on a lap or enjoy a cozy spot on the couch. Her cute and unique meow, paired with her food motivation (be ready with squeezable treats!), adds to her charm. While she sometimes gives gentle love-bites when overstimulated, disengaging usually calms her down. Nelly’s playful persistence with other cats is endearing; she doesn’t hiss or get defensive, and instead greets feline friends with a curious paw. She’ll be happiest with a resident cat that's social and open to a playful new companion. Start your journey together! Apply now.
