This handsome pit mix is a high-energy, deeply loyal dog who forms strong bonds once he learns to trust you. He can be shy and cautious in new situations due to his past experiences, but with patience, consistency, and kindness, he blossoms into a true "velcro dog" who loves staying close to his person. He is very playful and thrives on activity-running, playing fetch, and carrying around his soft baby toys are some of his favorite things. He lights up when someone engages with him, especially if treats and praise are involved (his favorite rewards). He is very attached to his home and can be protective of his space and people, so he will do best with an experienced, confident owner who can provide calm structure, clear boundaries, and reassurance.
