Fifi is a tiny survivor with a big story written in her eyes. She looks like a Red Heeler in a Chihuahua-sized package-petite, alert, and absolutely beautiful. While we don't know the details of her past, it's clear that life hasn't been kind to her. Fifi is almost feral. She is very wary of people and feels unsure in new environments, taking everything in cautiously from a distance. Right now, Fifi is in the care of an experienced foster who is giving her the space and patience she needs. One of the resident dogs has been gently trying to win her over with kindness and friendship, but Fifi isn't quite ready-she simply observes and keeps to herself. It's her way of staying safe, and we respect that. Fifi will need a special home-one with a patient, experienced person or family who understands that trust takes time and that love doesn't always look like cuddles right away. She may never be the kind of dog who greets you at the door with a wagging tail, but she is absolutely deserving of a life filled with comfort, safety, and quiet companionship.
