About Harmony

Harmony (A893517) Thank you for stopping to read about me! My name is Harmony, a name my foster grandma gave me because she said when I was a little baby, I would “sing” when I slept and when drinking my bottle of milk. I am a brindle colored pit mix, with a cream color chest, and white on my paws and tail tip. I am eating Purina One Plus Puppy dry and wet food mixed together with a bit of water. Some might say that my life has started out pretty rough, but my foster told me to be strong and fight! And I did fight the odds and won! Now weeks later I am a fearless, adventurous, strong willed, and goofy puppy! I love to crawl into small spaces for the adventure and have my foster grandma look for me! But not to worry, all she has to do is say, “Harmony, where are you?” and I come running back to her! I love placing with all my toys! Zoomies come about for me about three times a day, so beware and seek high ground humans! After they pass, I love a good nap. I sleep from 1-4 hours right now. I am also loving my sharp, razor like teeth, but my foster is trying to teach me they are not to be used on her! Luckily I should grow out of this phase, with your help if I become part of your family. At night, I have an enclosed area to sleep in that has blankets on one side, and puppy pad on the other side. That way I just use the pad in the middle of the night so my foster can have a little sleep. I am still little, but working on potty training. When it is not hot, I go outside to potty. But since I am a puppy, and Arizona is known for the heat, I need to be kept inside so not to burn my paws and get dehydrated. Recently I have begun going shopping with my foster since she now has a dog stroller! I have been doing really well in it, and love seeing people at the stores as they stop to say hello to me. I am learning to like car rides, but not thrilled about riding in a kennel right now, but I am starting to settle down. Foster grandma just said it is to keep me safe, and not distract her while she drives. Before I forget, I have loved to crawl up on my foster to sleep on the back of her neck. So if I start to crawl up your chest, I am headed for a nap on your neck or to play with your hair! I also move around a lot when I sleep. My spay surgery is scheduled for April 10, and will be ready to go home in the afternoon. I am positive for canine herpesvirus which is contagious to other dogs. Please consider adopting me into your home! I will be a loyal companion for life and have a lot of love to give?? If you would like additional information about how Harmony is doing in foster care, and a potential meet and greet prior to her spay surgery, you can email her foster grandma Suzanne - jsmll.meyer@yahoo.com. Questions regarding any of her medical history, please contact PACC.
