Meet Gracie – Your Sweet, Snuggly Sidekick Gracie is a 1-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd mix weighing about 20 pounds—the perfect size for both adventures and couch cuddles. Prior to coming to PAR she spent most of her life in a small pen. In spite of that, she is coming out of her shell and enjoying the good life in her foster home! Gracie is the best of both worlds: playful and fun when it's time to go, but just as happy to curl up next to you and relax. She's incredibly affectionate and truly loves being with her people. Gracie does great with other dogs and kids, making her a wonderful fit for many types of homes. She can be a little timid at first, but with a little patience and kindness, she quickly warms up and shows her loving, loyal personality. She is crate trained and settles nicely after a brief protest when you leave or return. She rides well in the car (either crated or tethered) and is house trained on a consistent schedule. Gracie would thrive in a home that will give her the love, reassurance, and companionship she craves—and in return, she'll be your devoted little shadow. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting. Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match.
