Meet Ricardo, a wise 15-year-old Miniature Pinscher with unmistakable white, bushy eyebrows and a calm way about him. He prefers a slow pace and spends most of his time resting. With few teeth left, Ricardo might toss out a harmless little air-nip if surprised, but he’s never actually bitten anyone—he just appreciates some notice before being picked up. He has some arthritis in his back and gets monthly Librela injections plus daily heart medication, which really make a difference for him. Surgery isn't an option for his small, harmless mass, and neutering is not advised due to his heart condition. Ricardo ignores other dogs and cats, making him easy to fit into most homes. He may not be a cuddler, but he's fine being handled gently and needs a cushy bed to settle into.
