HOW THIS ANIMAL IS WITH: CATS: Good with cats and could do well with a sibling or other compatible cat. Kittens must be adopted in pairs or to homes with active, young cats. DOGS: seems fine around dog KIDS: Likely fine with proper introductions. KNOWN LIKES: Calm, soft cuddles and lots of play and pets. KNOWN DISLIKES: Still learning. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: A community cat in Baghdad was rescued and pregnant. A kind group of expats were trying to TNR the stray cats and this momma cat was caught and taken to the clinic. The vets agreed they would hold her to deliver her kittens and wean them, spaying her when ready and returned outside, if the expat would find a safe place for the kittens to go. Finding homes for them and so many others like them, highly unlikely. Thankfully, one of the expats agreed to pay the clinic costs to keep them until weaned, basic vaccinations, and able to fly to the US for adoption. On October 31, the kitties arrived to DC! The kittens are settled in, got spayed/neutered, and are ready to start their American adventure in loving homes. Kittens must be adopted in pairs or to homes with an active, young cat. Ran is the calico female of the group. She is so sweet and loves pets and purrs a lot! She is also the vocal one of the family. ShiniChi is the male black and white kitten. He starts off timid and hides at first but will come out and play with the others as soon as he sees a toy. ShiniChi is named after a Japanese teenage detective so perhaps he's just undercover right now! Togo Mouri is the other black, male sibling. He's absolutely adorable and loves to sit/lay with his foster mom and cuddle. He even loves belly rubs! While Togo enjoys his play time, he is pretty chill for a kitten. Adopted! Kogoro is a male black sibling, and he is "Mister personality". He's not shy at all and loves all the attention he can get.
