About Pea Pod
Meet Pea Pod! Pea Pod is a 3-year-old brown and white tabby with a gentle, quiet nature that shows most when she feels safe. She gets nervous in new places and needs a patient, understanding adopter who will let her take the world at her own pace. Give her some cozy hiding spots and space to settle in, and you’ll soon earn her trust. As her confidence grows, she reveals just how sweet and affectionate she can be. Pea Pod is FIV-positive, so she has a weaker immune system and should be the only cat or live only with other FIV-positive cats. With regular care, FIV cats like her can have long, happy lives. She is available for either adoption or forever foster—if you choose forever foster, you provide the home and love, and the rescue covers the rest. You can meet Pea Pod at the Animal Protective League on Taintor Road in Springfield, open daily from noon to 5 p.m. Pea Pod is a Scorpio, which might explain her quietly brave side. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
