He is famous as he got dumped in a hurricane in Houston and some rescuers kayaked out to get him. He swam away and got to shore—-in true husky fashion. He was caught later on land. He was all over the news to get this sweet guy some help! That was a year and a half ago and since then he has decided that being in a home and taken care of every day is a good gig! He plays well with all sorts of female dogs medium and large and most male dogs medium and large. He doesn’t like my red husky but he likes all the other males! He would do great in a home with school aged children, with a couple, or a single person as long as he is included in their daily life and adventures. Ideally he would not be an apartment dog. He loves the water and has no anxiety riding in the car. He knows his basic commands but is not off leash trained. He would NEEDS A FENCED YARD to run and play. Up to date on all his shots, heartworm negative on monthly preventions, microchipped, and neutered. This smart, handsome, sweet guy needs his forever home. Apply today!
