Meet #Fable Some dogs come into our lives with loud stories… and some, like Fable, quietly steal your heart without even trying. This little beauty was found as a stray… and somehow, no one came looking for her. No one claimed those soft eyes. No one missed that sweet, happy smile. We just can’t understand it… because one look at her and you feel it.. she is something special. Fable is around a year old, still just a baby in so many ways, with so much life ahead of her. She has the kindest eyes that seem to search your face for reassurance… and when you give it to her, that little smile appears, like she’s saying, “Okay… I think I want you to be my mommy ..” She doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here and has been soaking up every bit of attention the volunteers give her. She leans in, she listens, she just wants to be close. The kind of dog that will follow you from room to room… just happy to finally belong to someone. We think she would do well with children, especially ones who will love her gently and grow up with her by her side. She’s at that perfect age where she’s ready to learn, ready to bond, ready to become everything you’ve ever wanted in a companion. Her shelter stay doesn’t have to be long… not if the right person sees her today. Let’s not let this sweet girl spend another day wondering why no one came for her.
