Meet Tony Tony is one of those dogs who didn’t get the start in life he deserved… but we’re hoping his story is about to change. This handsome older guy (around 6–7 years old) came to us as a court case, and while we may never know everything he’s been through… we do know he’s ready for something better. A real home. A soft place to land. A person to finally call his own. Tony is a quieter soul. He’s not asking for much just some peaceful walks, a little routine, and someone who will give him the TLC he’s been missing. He’s the kind of dog who enjoys the simple things in life… taking in the fresh air, stretching his legs, and then settling in for some quiet time. And here’s a little fun fact about Tony… Give this guy a toy and he will happily keep himself busy “remodeling” it. Shredding toys seems to be his thing — and honestly, it’s his way of having a little fun and keeping himself entertained. Tony doesn’t seem to be fond of other dogs, so he would likely do best as the only pet in the home where he can just relax and be himself. We are asking for older, respectful children at this time, as we do not know his past and want to set him up for success, not failure. He’s not loud. He’s not demanding. He’s just… Tony. A good boy who deserves a second chance at a life filled with comfort, patience, and love.
