Age: 6 years Weight: 10lbs Meet Kahlua! He's a gentle chi mix who will melt your heart instantly! Kahlua was rescued in Texas after being surrendered by his owner who no longer had time to care for him. Treats go a very long way to teach this little angel and he's doing so well learning new skills. He is a true cuddler with a moderate level of energy. He is really friendly with humans and other smaller/medium sized dogs. He likes to chase a ball and chew on a bone after a long walk, but what he loves most is being next to his favorite human and taking a nap. He's such a sweetheart in fact, he has an actual heart shaped spot on him... Y ou would think he has lived in NY all his life with how calm he is in a transport bag in the subway or in a car, he is a perfect travel buddy for all your adventures! His leash skills are good and he's very go-with-the-flow. He goes in his crate without trouble and seems comfortable in it. He would do great in a home with another small-ish dog or by himself and is comfortable in an apartment setting. I love the way he walks and he will do tippy taps when he sees the food being prepared.
