She’s as sweet as they come and adores kids, dogs, and—most of all—her humans. Juicy is what we lovingly call a “velcro dog”. Her dream day is simple: curled up on your lap or snuggled next to you on the couch while you binge your favorite show. 🐾 Personality & Behavior Juicy bonds quickly with her person and can become a bit overprotective at first. With a confident, consistent owner who can gently correct her when needed, she settles beautifully. In her foster home, she warmed up to all family members once she felt safe and understood the routine. She was definitely spoiled in her previous home and enjoyed more treats and table food than she should have. Her foster is helping her transition to a healthy dog‑food diet and adding some light exercise so she can shed a few extra pounds. 🩺 Health & Vetting Juicy has had puppies in the past but is now spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. Understanding Transport After approval, dogs are scheduled for transport through AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means your dog will travel safely and comfortably in a climate‑controlled van—heated or air‑conditioned as needed—from our dog ranch in Fulshear, TX to a designated meeting point near you. Each transport is staffed by a team of two drivers who rotate driving duties. The driver who is not behind the wheel will provide real‑time updates in a group chat. You’ll be added to this chat so you can follow your dog’s journey, receive the exact meeting location, and get the estimated arrival time. Our drivers work hard to stay on schedule, but factors like traffic or weather can cause delays—or sometimes early arrivals. You’ll be kept updated throughout the trip. Dogs make regular stops for bathroom breaks, short walks, and meals. For safety, all dogs remain crated during transport.
