Meet Shelby 🤍 Shelby and her eight siblings came from an incredibly difficult start; they were found living inside a car alongside four adult dogs, all in heartbreaking condition. The puppies were emaciated and struggling to survive, but thanks to a compassionate Good Samaritan, we were able to bring them to safety. Now, with full bellies, proper care, and the patience of loving fosters, Shelby is beginning to feel secure and is slowly learning that the world can be a kind and gentle place. Shelby is a soft, sensitive soul who is just starting to come out of her shell. She can be a little shy with humans at first and may choose a cozy hiding spot when things feel overwhelming, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality begins to shine. Lately, she has started leaning in for pets and seeking out affection; a huge step that shows just how much she is growing in confidence. She loves to play with her siblings when she thinks no one is watching, and her gentle, curious nature makes those quiet moments extra special. She is also very smart and already seems to understand “touch.” Shelby would do best in a patient, loving home that will give her the time and reassurance she needs to fully blossom. With a little kindness and consistency, she is going to make an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
