Prince is our first boy from the abuse case ready for adoption! He came to us with a fracture in his hip, but the doctor said surgery would be too invasive and it’s too late to fix now that it’s healed. It will be a lifetime injury so his future owner will just have to monitor that he doesn’t overexert himself. Right now he doesn’t let it slow him down much at and is very agile. Prince is ~4 yrs old and ~ 12 lbs. He is neutered and UTD on vaccines! He will be ready to go to his furever home soon! Prince is a velcro dog and wants to be with you always! So someone who works from home may be the best situation for him. Or a house with someone home most of the time. He absolutely loves to sit and sleep on you whenever you sit down. He is an equal opportunity snuggler and will cuddle with anyone (except kids). Prince loves other dogs and seems to ignore cats inside the house. He does have a prey drive outside though and will chase small animals. Prince will need a playful confident doggy sibling in his new home. His confidence is improving but still looks to his foster brother for guidance. He was very nervous and shy when he first got here. He loves playing with his foster brother outside chasing each other and playing with balls. He gets the zoomies about 2x a day and loves to get them out in our fenced back yard. Prince sleeps like a champ in his crate but would love to sleep in bed with you at his new house. He seems to be fully house broken, except during the first few days. We are keeping a belly band on him when he is out and about in the house and it is working great! Prince has warmed up to our 3 yr old child however he would do better with older kids. He can be mouthy and jumpy when excited and can be nervous around kids playing loudly. This sweet Prince just wants a warm loving home.
