About Fletcher
Fletcher's story starts the way too many southern rescue stories do...hidden, uncertain, and out of sight. For the first six weeks of life, Fletcher and his four siblings were tucked away in an abandoned house, their mama doing everything she could to keep them safe. A dedicated group of southern rescue women worked tirelessly to help their mom, carefully waiting and searching so they wouldn't separate her from her babies too soon. After five weeks of searching, their patience paid off--Fletcher and his siblings were finally found, safe and sound, tucked under a dresser. And the best part? These babies hadn't just survived...they were thriving. Full bellies, bright eyes, and ready to take on the world. And Fletcher? He's leading the charge. The biggest of the bunch, Fletcher is impossible to miss. His striking facial markings give him that "main character" energy, and his personality matches it perfectly. Confident, curious, and always aware of what's going on around him, Fletcher is usually the first one up on his feet, ready to greet his foster mom the moment she walks into the room. For such a young pup, Fletcher carries himself with a natural confidence that makes you stop and say, "this one's going to be something special." His foster mom already sees it--once he settles into a home and routine, Fletcher has all the potential to truly shine in training. He's smart, eager, and tuned in...a combination that goes a long way. Of course, he is still a puppy--which means energy, playtime, and a whole lot of learning ahead. Fletcher will do best with a family that understands the importance of structure, patience, and consistency. With the right guidance, he's going to grow into an incredible companion. From under a dresser in an abandoned house...to center stage in someone's forever home. Fletcher's story is just getting started. Could that next chapter be with you?
