Penny is Ready for Adoption! 📍 Mahwah, NJ | 🐶 6 years old | ⚖️ 20 lbs Hi friends, I’m Penny! I’m a sweet, playful little girl with so much love to give! I absolutely love people (of all ages!) and bond closely with my person—I’ll happily follow you around like your little shadow! I’m super playful—I love tennis balls, toys, bones… basically if it’s fun, I’m in. I’ll even bark at my dog friends like “Hellloooo, let’s play!!!” 😄 I really thrive with other dogs and would love a buddy (or two!) to run around with. It truly brings out my best self. I’m crate trained and sleep great in there at night, but if I had it my way… I’d be snuggled up in bed with you instead. I’m the kind of girl who loves being close. Like… really close. I’ll lean on you, curl up in your lap, or gently plop myself right on you just to stay connected. Personal space? Never heard of it 😄 I’m learning new commands like “no” and “come” but I’m a fast learner (especially with treats involved)! A few things I’m working on (I’m trying my best, promise!): I’m still getting the hang of leash walking, but I do love being outside! Since I’m basically a puppy at heart, I’m also learning potty training—right now I use both outside and pee pads. I also need appropriate things to chew… otherwise I might go for things like remotes (oops 😅). I’m a happy, loving, playful girl who just wants a family of my own and a cozy spot next to you at the end of the day!
