Pumpkin's story began with a stroke of luck. Her mother was rescued from a school just days before giving birth, after staff contacted a rescue to get her help. She was a gentle, devoted mama who raised her puppies safely in foster care. Pumpkin is one of those puppies, raised with love and affection who turned out to be a sweet and funny little girl. She is some type of short haired mix(Vizsla? Lab?), we are not really sure what kind, and she was born with a little nub tail that is always wiggling with happiness! At around 38 lbs, she’s a great medium size and still very much a puppy at heart. She loves fun, loves people, and is always ready to play—unless she is invited to cuddle with her people. She LOVES other dogs and would do great with a gentle friend to romp around with and snuggle with! Pumpkin is potty trained and crate trained, and is very eager to please. She is very intuitive, knows some basic commands already, and she walks beautifully on a leash! Pumpkin has been living in a home happily for a few months but due to a change in jobs her mom had made the difficult decision to find her a new home.
