About Athena & Xena
Athena and Xena are a striking pair of bonded tuxedo sisters who truly embody their namesakes. They showed up as cautious, resourceful kittens, survivors seeking food alongside their mother after losing siblings. Once rescued and brought indoors, their foster parent took time to earn their trust—now Athena and Xena will come ask for gentle pets, brushings, and even hand-fed treats. While still alert with new people, they have grown affectionate in their foster home, curling up on a lap if given space and patience. You’ll find them closely watching your face, reading your tone, and gradually coming out of their shells. Athena and Xena are looking for an adopter who understands sensitive cats and will let them warm up at their own pace. They’re gentle, loving girls for a household that values patience and the slow building of trust. These sisters love each other deeply, adore routine, and need to be adopted together. Athena and Xena get along well with other cats, are comfortable with children, but don’t do well with dogs. Their ideal home is one with people who will give them time and let them come to you.
